Privacy Policy — PandaBloom
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how PandaBloom (the "App", bundle identifier com.pandabloom.app) handles information when you play. The App is developed and operated by Yaron Langer ("we", "us"). If you have any questions, contact ylanger@gmail.com.
1. Information we collect
The App is designed to collect the minimum information needed to deliver and improve the game.
- Anonymous game identifier. When you launch the App, Firebase Authentication assigns an anonymous user ID. This ID is not linked to your name, email, or phone number unless you choose to sign in (see below).
- Game progress and stats. Your level progress, credit balance, daily-login streak, settings, and gameplay statistics are stored locally on your device and mirrored to Firebase Firestore so your progress survives reinstalls and can be restored on a new device. This data is keyed to your anonymous user ID.
- Google or Apple account (only if you choose to sign in). The App offers an optional "Sign in to save progress" feature in the menu. If you use it, Firebase Authentication receives your account name, email address, and (if available) profile photo URL, solely to identify your save data across devices. On iOS we offer Sign in with Apple; on Android we offer Sign in with Google. Signing in is optional — the App is fully playable without it.
- Leaderboard entries. If you win a level, your chosen username and cumulative score are written to a public leaderboard collection in Firestore so other players can see them. Your real name and email are never written to the leaderboard.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android). The App shows ads via Google AdMob. With your permission — granted through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, or through your Google account ad-personalisation settings on Android — AdMob may receive your device's advertising identifier to deliver personalized ads. If you decline, you will see non-personalized ads instead.
- Purchase records. In-app purchases (such as "Remove Ads") are processed entirely by the platform store: Apple StoreKit on iOS, Google Play Billing on Android. We receive only a receipt confirming whether you own the purchase; we do not see your payment details.
- Beta crash data (testing tracks only). While the App is on a beta testing track — Apple TestFlight on iOS, Google Play Internal/Closed/Open Testing on Android — the relevant platform may collect crash logs, usage data, and feedback you submit through that track. This is handled directly by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.
2. What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone input, camera input, precise location, health data, or browsing history.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We do not use your data for any purpose other than running the game, saving your progress, showing leaderboards, and serving ads.
3. How we use your information
- To deliver the game and save your progress across devices.
- To display the global leaderboard and your position in it.
- To show advertisements (personalized only with your consent).
- To process in-app purchases (through Apple StoreKit on iOS, Google Play Billing on Android).
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability (through Apple TestFlight on iOS, Google Play testing tracks on Android).
4. Third-party services
The App relies on the following third-party services. Each service handles your data according to its own privacy policy:
5. Your choices and rights
- Opt out of personalized ads (iOS): on iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disable tracking for PandaBloom. You will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
- Opt out of personalized ads (Android): on Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads, then either toggle "Opt out of Ads Personalisation" or tap "Reset advertising ID". You will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
- Sign out: in the App, open Menu → Account → Sign out. This signs out of Sign in with Apple (iOS) or Sign in with Google (Android), depending on the platform. Your save data will continue to be backed up under a new anonymous identifier.
- Delete your data: to request deletion of your cloud-saved game data, email ylanger@gmail.com with the request. We will delete the associated Firestore record. Uninstalling the App also removes all locally stored data on your device.
6. Children's privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data retention
Cloud-saved game data is retained for as long as you continue to use the App. If you request deletion (or if your save remains inactive for an extended period), we will remove the data from our Firestore database.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or on this page.
